​A warm welcome to the Magazin – the popular meeting point for the young and the young at heart located in the old fire station in Olten Haus der Museen.
You can reach us in just a few minutes on foot from Olten railway station. Or hop on a bus and get off at the Konradstrasse stop opposite. During the summer, our guests relax on our large sun terrace in the inner courtyard, then during the winter it’s time to enjoy cosy moments at the bar or at a lounge table.

Tasty coffee and light bites

From 9.30 am, our bartenders are there to welcome you with a delicious cup of latte macchiato, cappuccino or a variety of roasted espresso blends. If you fancy some lunch, a snack or finger food, our kitchen team is ready to conjure up a tasty crêpe or a crispy tarte flambée. Right next door, the Haus der Museen is ready to invite you on a fascinating journey exploring nature, history and archaeology.

Lunchtime menu

From Monday to Friday we offer small and large lunch menus and accompanying salads. We have also partnered with Hammer Metzg in Olten and offer their special bratwurst with smoked bread – an absolute classic served with mustard and chips.

We serve beers from the Valais (Valaisanne), from Aargau (Feldschlösschen), from rural Bavaria (Schneider Weisse), from Ireland (Hop House) and from the USA (Blue Moon): We offer a delectable selection of beers, refreshing mixer drinks and handpicked wines from all over the world.
